As noted, the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio indicated that Sami's AEW mention was scripted into the show before it hit the air, but that could not be confirmed as another source said it was not scripted for Sami to say.

Saw them talking about it on another thread. It seems like they told the wrestlers that it was real but production and writing knew it was scripted.

to all of this. The idea that someone's source just got revealed at Titan Tower, Vince likely did this to smoke out the source, but maybe not and maybe it was a SHEWT and maybe Sami will get suspended, but maybe not because it might have probably been kind of planned but you know Sami often uses his own verbiage but you know AEW isn't really his verbiage as it's just the name of the company and he might have technically been talking about a different AEW that means something only Vince knows about but his inside circle is saying both ways so you never know, ya know?
