You just don't appreciate his tactics. Trolling is the only way HL will have any kind of discussion. When he pulls shyt out of his ass, it's so he can learn when people correct him (instead of reading or researching himself). It's all part of the plan, he's really liberal :troll:
:mjpls: I wouldn't be surprised if he signed up for the ACA too...

So you bought into the illusion too friend? It's a very powerful illusion I must say.

That scene was my favorite in that entire movie because its real. People have money on paper thinking that its real. But its only real when the sold and becomes liquid. Otherwise, its just a price on a piece of paper or more like on a computer screen. And that price can be one thing today and something else tomorrow.

People look at someone who has a "net worth" of xxxx because they own so many shares of stock. But with one market downturn, their net worth can be :flabbynsick:.

Ask people who who lost or have to postpone their retirement due to their 401ks going from :obama: to :to:.

I have no problem with investing in stocks. I just think people need to be aware of what that game really is.

Peace

I know it doesn't work like that. . . But it always works out like that. Big banks get to pay fines and the smaller ones get hit up by the FBI, and MAYBE some low level jerk off gets locked up. It's more about WHERE our authorities look for crimes. Some get the total blind eye, and others get the occasional pillage.
My point proven.

the book is actually pretty interesting.

I guess one of the main points is does this volume of high frequency trading actually add liquidity to the markets? it seems there is good points on both sides.
