I don’t know why y’all be acknowledging that Aaliyah hate. It ain’t even worth it at this point. Aaliyah’s legacy is cemented. It isn’t even worth arguing. Nothing will change her spot in music.

But there were a lot of female artists bigger than Monica in the 90s.

Mariah, Mary J, Toni. Monica was B level at the most.
