They have to know this, so I'm wondering what their long term thinking is. Iggy can probably get market value because he'd be a worthwhile addition to any contender. I think MOnta just wants to get the hell out of Milwaukee.

true BUT

as far as iggy -all the main/ real title contenders are capped out
he not gonna to able to go to a team better then the nuggets

as far as monta... *shyt* is milwaukee that bad!!! to give up on 11mill :russ:

My Pops Forever RIP
:usure:
IMO
iggy gonna get something like 44mill for 4yrs
monta gonna be like 42mill for 5yrs

regardless... they both gonna sign deals less then what they would have made this year

:manny: just my opinion :manny:

But that's the point though of opting out.

Sure you could take the 1 year of $16 mil, but risk a year of injury, ineffectiveness, and a much bigger free agent class if you want to. Besides, it's easier to get a long term deal where your deal ends at age 33 because at 33, you could squeeze an extra year or two on a new deal.

after the edit. :comeon:

Iggy is going to get a deal similar to the one our former GM gave Nene - something like 5 years 65 mil.

my bad on the late edit

but i just dont see anybody giving him 65mill for 5
with this new CBA
its only like 8 teams who can pay him 13per (all bad teams except LAC, ATL & HOU

which all of them are looking to catch the big fish

well just have to wait to see what he gets before debating

IMO... playing on a good team for another yr
with the potential of going to the western conference finals
probably gets DEN to give him an extension paying him way more then testing free agent this yr
