Who u say in they primes
Roy Jones jr his speed and reflexes made up for holes in his defense in his prime
Then he has no boxing skill idiots. :dahell: Do you people read the titles?

I actually watched RJJ during his whole career while he was competing. He HAD a lot of boxing skills. Tremendous boxing skills. But he was so gifted that he didn't have to use his all of his skillset in every fight. To say he had none is literally wrong, incorrect, and absurd. Nobody can dominate the amateurs. win gold medals in the Olympics (RJJ was famously robbed of his gold medal), and dominate the sport as pound for pound #1 for a decade plus WITHOUT boxing skills. So to answer initial question, RJJ had more boxing skills than FMJ but (try to wrap your heads around this guys) RJJ was SOOOOO talented and gifted he didn't have to use his boxing skills to win fights, he could use his athletic skills. But in fights where he had to use more skills, he did.

Floyd on the other hand has more boxing skills than physical skills or as I like to call intangibles or X-Factors.

Floyd was ULTRA fast and was insanely prepared boxer who, in the beginning, mixed it up a little too much for someone who got as good defensively as he ended up being. Roy was a phenom and could avoid anything from just head movement and using the ropes...didn't take solid hits and had hilarious accuracy you'll never see ever again in your lifetime.

I agree with most of what you're saying, except... Roy def had mad boxing skills, and the difference between the 2 is small, but Floyd had more skill evidenced by the way both performed after their physical skills began to decline. Roy fell off pretty bad, while Floyd remained elite because of his skillset.
