Keeping in theme with the spirit of the day, what were you doing 4 years ago on this day? What are you doing today?

I remember I voted wayyy early in the morning back home. Nothing but uppity conservative CACs, so I know my vote didn't hold any weight there.

I rushed my ass back to school. Campus was too live. Only thing everyone asked that day "You Voted?" and nikkas was like "yep". I hated on a "I voted" t-shirt.

Met up with my friends. The university sponsored a viewing party outside on the campus yard (HBCU, ftw. Minimal CAC presence) with a big ass screen out. EVERYONE was out there. I wanna say at least +3,000 people. Of course since it's a black school they had a DJ with twerk music playing, the band was playing and nikkas was strollin'. I think they played Frankie Beverley & Maze Before I Let Go 3 times in a 2 hour period so nikkas could do the electric slide

Then all the votes came in (most of what I'm recollecting here is a blur cause I was drunk as fukk ) And I just remember everyone screaming. Everyone started crying. A playa shed a tear too yall.

And now I don't even really like Obama like that.

Now this year:

I'm hosting a party tonight. I wanna post the ignorant ass flyer we are using, but I don't want that shyt to pop up in a google image search or something. It's a play on this shyt:

i was in ATL shooting documentary footage for Killer Mike. i voted in Houston like 2 days earlier tho. when i got on the plane that evening, i had on my obama shirt, and cacs gave me the face... i sat next to a white dude that said NOTHING to me the entire trip, and he smelled like cold hot dog water... when i got home, my wife and kids were sitting in front of the TV watching the results. when he won, we all screamed and ran around the house on some shyt......

the p*ssy/mouth was plentiful that night.....

I was in Time Square. When they put up the picture of President-Elect Barack Obama that place was wild. I will never forget that. I can't wait to tell my grandkids about it.

I wanted to get back to cars but they kept talking shyt.

i remember voting around 2pm ish then went and did some volunteer work at a homeless shelter. was laid in bed w/the wife when CNN reported had won and we just...was quiet taking in the historic moment.

Today? working and will go home and turn it RIGHT to CNN once again to watch once again

I was in college. I remember voting, it was in one of our lecture rooms. Don't remember what I did for the rest of the day up until election time. I was Sitting in the dark tv room in the dorms by myself when they announced the results. I ran into them computer room next door and told everyone. We proceeded to join up with random groups of people who were running outside yelling and wound up in street party on campus right next to the ghetto dorms.

I had too much fun. Went to work, had my President on repeat on the ipod at the job, when back to campus to take a class. I then went home watched the election, as soon as Obama won I hugged my roommate, left the house, partied all night. After 2:30 I went to these Euros house, fukked with a couple cacs who was mad that Obama won and sleep in bed with some random Swedish chick.

I don't think I will have that much fun this year but I still want to have a good time.
