well, as a white, I prefer Graduation.

Of course, neither is in my top ten, much less the holy grail.

the eminem show

cacs 18-24

18yr olds today were 6 when TES dropped.

24yr olds today were 12 when TES dropped

is TES that much of a classic that it trascends generations and is universally loved by all ages :leon:

why dont the cacs praise CD and LR like they do graduation and MBTF? is it because CD and LR were actual hip-hop albums with actual hip-hop beats lyricsim and themes geared more toward the urban traditional hip-hop crowd? instead of cac electronic dance music?

the answers :ohhh:

but why WERE whites so attracted to his music? consumers and the white critics?

No idea.

I can tell you why I liked it ... when I first heard "college dropout," I had only heard of kanye as a beat maker. But, I was interested in the record because it had Common, Kweli and Mos Def on it. So I gave it a listen.

Also, I lied above -- I'm not even super familiar with "Graduation" ... I was thinking of "late registration." Kanye's first two records are the only ones I really still listen to.

So, I guess you can disregard my input in this post.

why are either classics in your opinion. be specific dont just say its "good music" :comeon:

if your a fan of hip-hop music i dont see how you can classify these classic albums or even great

albums. its pop-hop radio cac rap. if thats what your lookin for than kanye might just be the GOAT of that genre

but as hi-hop albums :mjlol:
