More N.X.T. Endeavors & Athena Makes Her N.X.T. Debut

As noted, both Cal Bishop and backstage announcer Devin Taylor were released from WWE NXT this week, having been with the company since 2013.

According to PWInsider.com, the two were released because WWE officials felt they had been in NXT for too long without making any real progress in the ring. It was expected that there would be some NXT releases, as WWE has been signing a lot of new talent as of late.

After much speculation that she had signed with WWE, indy star Athena made her NXT debut at tonight’s live event in Winter Haven, FL. Athena lost a tag team match with her partner Gionna Daddio against Peyton Royce and Alexa Bliss.

Honestly the change would be better for her in the long run. If Austin got fukked up from doing REGULAR Stunners, I can't imagine her and Cena not becoming cripples if they keep it up.
