"In a recent interview with ESPN The Magazine - set to be released in this week's edition - Norman discussed a variety of topics, including his recent departure with the Panthers. Norman claimed the Panthersdidn't want him to become a face of the team like quarterback Cam Newton and linebacker Luke Kuechly.

“They kind of shunned me,” Norman said. “They turned down a lot of stuff for me, interviews, sponsorship deals, stuff I didn’t even know about. They wanted it to be about the two main guys, Cam [Newton] and Luke [Kuechly].”"

I could see it personally, Gettleman + Richardson would seem like the type to only have 1 or 2 big dogs on each side of the ball, and you did already have that in Kuechly and to a lesser extent TD

Yeah they were turning down sponsorships for you...you weren't a "star" before all that. They focused their resources on PROVEN stars. To me, he needs to shut up and just play. This sounds like "Salty Sid" made an appearance lol

What are you talking about? Last year he wasn't overrated, he had all the statistics to prove that he was the most successful, ofc it came with an asterisk, but it didn't matter cause he was in a system he thrived in
