I was at a music seminar cause my brother was speaking and he ask the "artist" in the crowd how many people wanted a record deal and every hand went up....then he asked how many people have read any books on how record deals and the music industry work? There was like 3 hands still up. He then asked the crowd " If you want the music business to be your life then why are you not researching it before you get into it, when you get there you gonna be taking the word of people who's job it is to use you to make huge amounts of money for themselves. How bad do you want to be in the industry if you won't read a book on how it works? "
