I see a few sneakerhead cats on the Gram getting dough (one's a cac, one's asian, and a mexican).

When i ride through my city, the overwhelming majority of sneaker stores and even "hip hop apparel" type stores are owned by non-black men. I think a black man used to own one of the clothes store but sold it.

A lot of cats are really into sneakers, knowing when they drop, the colorways, etc if it's something you really like why not?

It's like a dude being into jewelry and having a jewelry store. I know cats like that and they're usually Middle Eastern. Jewels is like their "hobby" but they love it enough to make money off of it.

Black men have hobbies but need to learn how to start companies to make profit off of things they like.

Nobody is saying it's "easy" to do either. It's not easy at all. It still needs to happen though.

I went to high school with this Arab dude who owns this "urban" wear store, he stays in business, it's usually young black males in there. We're huge consumers and that would be fine if we produced/supplied enough to balance it out.

:jbhmm::ohhh:

Beyond sneakers there are probably quite a few ideas that like minded brehs could invest in together.

There's a couple black owned sneaker boutiques in my city. If I was still in the game and willing to drop $100+ on kicks, I'd support.

However I just hit up the Nike Outlet and online to get the cheapest joints. I haven't paid more than $75 for a pair of sneaks in a long time. But I'm in my late 30's so I'm not really in the game anymore.
