Just listening to random albums and songs

yasiin’s trajectory has been a really interesting one

Perfect track for Mos.

He was definitely one of the best around this time. Listening to his catalogue is always bittersweet because I always think about how I wish we got way more music from dude. He could've really dropped mad classics effortlessly during his peak run, if he wanted to.

All facts and especially the bolded

He gave us like one more glimmer of hope with The Ecstatic but since then it’s just been here and there with just guest features and the Black Star

I wish he’d just release the albums he sitting on

Mos had so much personal sh*t going on, with the court battles with his kid's moms, and the child support and taxes nonsense. I think those issues and his chasing after the acting thing while being an acclaimed MC, derailed his whole sh*t.

He literally left the country and denounced his citizenship over child support and taxes, lol. Weird sh*t. So all of that crazy drama took a serious toll on his trajectory. I remember when he dropped "Universal Magnetic" and 'If You Can Huh You Can Hear" independently with Shawn J Period before BOBS, and just thinking to myself back then that he was gonna be the best someday.
