Mossberg Mod question

To my fellow gun enthusiasts:
I just upgraded my stock pistol grip to a SpecOps II Gen 2 stock.
After the install the connection feels a little loose. I've got slight play between the gun body and the grip. Is this normal?
Edit: the screw that holds the grip in place is on as tight as it can go.

Thats not normal. Are these the screws that came with the grip? Pics?

It defintely doesn't feel right. But it's definitely the right model for my Mossy 500

might be defective breh, i don't know much about the spec ops mods though.

Maybe the screw stripped or not the right size. Can you use the screws from the original stock? I would think you need to take it back. If u need help I would go to a gunsmith

So when/if somebody breaks into your house and threatens your family you just gonna say: "Put em up and let's fight it out??"

Damn....now I can't remove the bolt to get the stock off. I will have to take it to a gunsmith for sure.
