Folk can say what they want but Dude has played and left it all on the table... Bucs are dumb as fukk to move on from him if they do.. resign him and kick out performance kickers in his contract he has to meet.. it will keep him motivated

If he makes me eat my words so be it cuz the Bucs are the one NFC South team I can withstand being successful....

But I sure hope the Bucs re-sign him. Good for him that he has his flashy numbers but I can never see him leading the team to anything but at best 9 wins. Maybe 11 wins if the Bucs defense gets hot one year. But he doesn't scare me. Even if he lights up my team, I can always count on him screwing up the next week or eventually.

He reminds me of Aaron Brooks. Much better QB of course. But just like Brooks would do, he shows flashes year after year that does just enough to have you go "Ok, next year is THE year for him" and then next year comes and it's the same ol same ol with flashes of potential. Rinse. Lather. Repeat.

I was a big fan of the kid coming in but you really think he can make a big enough turnaround to warrant keeping him?

QBs like him are the worst sometimes. They won't win much but they'll win you enough games to not have the top 3 or 4 pick to replace him with a high pick in the draft. Kinda like how Tannehill was with Miami.

Honestly since getting a QB coach and Arians taking over dude has been playing the best I love seen him play

I get where y’all coming from, the thing with a QB like Jameis is you can’t put all the onus on him to make all the plays on offense. The Bucs are a team that doesn’t understand the concept of time of possession at all. They have no ground game to speak of.

They have no rushing attack that defenses have to respect so teams are able to send extra men back into coverage, against a QB who’s offense requires him to high degree of difficulty level throws.

The trenches in front of him are either soft, beat up & old, or inexperienced. Upgrade the o-line and create a more balanced attack to help minimize your turnover prone QB’s mistakes. Jameis will never be a single digit INT guy but you can aid him in reducing turnovers by balancing the offense.
