I think I see why Black people stop coming up north in early 70s. Buy that time they got the message.
I had some cousins who moved from move from south cakalacka to Philadelphia in the early 90s. By the early 00s they back down south. Most of my living relatives live somewhere below the Mason-Dixon line these days. And many of ones who still live in the city are dealing with poverty, drug addiction, violence and death.
The northern migration thing was a bumpy road for us.
