The thing about building homes at that price point is that you have to ensure that the design is timeless. Meaning, it doesn’t matter the year, the house will not appear out of style.

The modern contemp design is a non starter for a lot of people in the architectural world. It’s “trendy” which means it quickly becomes dated. A lot of people don’t want to buy dated houses. Which is why MJ had a hard time selling is contemporary multi-million dollar home in the North Shore of Chicago. No one wanted to touch it because it was not versatile enough.

Put that shyt up on AirBNB and make millions per year off that shyt.

But the demand will not be enough to outweigh the costs and the accumulated debt. Plus, people can damage the property and the furnishings.

Exactly, and people want houses that have character and history. Older architectural designs are actually more sought out after as they have stood the test of time.

A home is meant to look and feel homely, but the megamansion in the hills just looks cold and vacant. It has no history and the asking price is ridiculous.

Aside from the house having no history, the fact that it was built for the express purpose of being a giant, hyper-modern, soulless moneypit is going to put a lot of buyers off.

Who was this house even for originally? I mean what demographic? Cause it's filled with "technology" that's already on the verge of being outdated and wouldn't impress any tech savvy billionaire, while also kitted out to look like a 1980s bachelor drug lord's base of operations. The large, BUILT-IN art pieces and sculptures throughout the house that a buyer would have to I guess just tolerate for the time being? the weirdly disjointed layout, the SUEDE WALLS, multiple swimming pools (none of which are large enough to accommodate one big party) that lack any kind of interesting design.. seriously who was this FOR? It looks like something Niami developed in a Minecraft fever dream.

The house has a salon and nightclub built in:wow:
That house is a nightclub. You would get burnt out on it pretty fast. No wonder he can't sell it. He's been marketing it hard this year. The shyt is just one big club. Nobody in their right mind would want this as a personal home. It is more like a new age playboy style mansion. Maintenance and upkeep is stupid. The developer was not thinking on this one. His vision is very limited
