Which group do you think turned out to be the most impressive in terms of musical output, longevity, consistency, ability to stay relevant, etc? Probably too early to know about the 2015 class but I put em in there anyway.

It's crazy looking back at these like how did this dude make it but not this one? And what happened to some of these guys. Asher Roth? Charles Hamilton? Blu?

blu is the only one i didnt think was whack and even i thought he would eventually fall off tbh cuz his music just was so real it would never pop in the club. i think he is bi-polar too which is a career killa. i knew roth and hamilton was straight trash in 2009 tho.

i find it way more interesting to see who gets on the list. cuz 2011/2010 has the strongest discogs right now, but hey also have advantage of longevity 2014 one actually looks strong as hell. isaiah, vic, and chance is a great combo. it depends on what they end up doing, but honestly it's all about hits to most and i see no one topping 2010 just off the strength of cole being the most famous rapper..

but again they putting cole on the list 2 years after he was already popping. did the same with q. wtf.

Yeah I think 2014 and 2015 probably need more time to really judge them but 2011 and 2010 looks strong as hell. I don't know what happened to 2009. Almost everybody disappeared except Wale and BOB (but nobody listens to him). Cudi needs to get himself together and focus back on the music

i didnt even notice that was cudi :deadrose:

shyt is so political though cuz i literally became fans of jay rock/ab soul/wiz/bob all within the same 50 day period during the onsmash days when i literally just watched every video and caught on to new artists through that. yet there's like 3 different years between them all.

2009 has a bad class though, although i think wale is now so hated on he's underrated lel.

All the covers have got increasingly gayer as time progressed.

XXl must have been paid handsomely to put some of those gimplords in :scust:

Hard to choose which year as 75% of the 'artists' are actual trash.

I mean, both Vince Staples and Goldlink dropped dope projects recently. Fetty was running the radio for a minute. I don't know how relevant people consider Dej and Tink to be - people talk about them but it's mostly when are they going to put out a real album or something dope. No comment on the rest of them

Vince is cool, so is Fetty, Dej and Tink but the rest is kinda wack. Goldlink is nice, Kidd Kidd is too but he's like 31 :why:

Now that I look though, it's always the same amount of artists that don't make it from each list
