The logic is flawed, it's like saying why was 'I Love Lucy' the most popular show in the US and why aren't shows like that popular now? While disregarding that there were about 3 channels at the time. It's an unfair, uninformed presupposition not a real question.

But your putting the "WHY" part in there. I never ask why were pastors, activist the leaders back then but not now. I'm simply asking WHO are the leaders now. Not why has it changed.

I agree mlk would. As far as musicians, influencers those were just possibilities. Not saying it was the only answer. Some might feel pastors and activists still are the leaders today. I'm just trying to see where people are at and people have gave a range of answers
