Ain't nobody breaking Rice's 23k yards. Antonio brown would need to average 1500 yards a season for another decade to break it. Only way it gets broken is if a young prolific wr and qb come into the league together and have head coach that likes to pass and all 3 of them stay together for altleast 10 years and receiver has to have a 15+ year career where he stays healthy
Jameis and Mike Evans :ohhh:

They'll both be broken eventually as with every other record. Science will keep prolonging athletes careers more and more over time. It'll be a while though.
Science has actually went backwards in that regard. It has allowed players to come back from injury much sooner. The downfall seems like more injuries occur (too big, fast, strong) and even elite athletes are :flabbynsick: by 33.

No current player (barring rookies, hypothetically) is breaking either, anyone in striking range is either :flabbynsick: or posted up reading a magazine waiting for their flat top

Tough to say which one would hypothetically go first; I'm inclined to say Rice cause having 1k receiving yards in a season is more common these days, but there's such a huge gap between him and #2. Smith's could stand for a while too cause its rare for a RB to get 300+ carries a year like in his day

I hear ya. I'm just thinking WAY more down the road as drugs and treaments get better and better, but I gotcha... def won't see these records broken for a long long time.

I honestly think neither will be. Defenses have got much better.

The defense upfront hit much harder for RB's to have that long of careers and DB's are way too good and athletic in coverage to get beat that often.
