I took 2 weeks off to go to Hawaii for vacation, soon as I land my employer emails me saying they gonna extend my vacation, because they laid me off

When I was on vac in Hawaii years ago I was at the hotel bar with a nikka who was sent there thru his job and he was having so much fun he decided to stay another week and didn't care of they fired him over it

This happened years ago when I was in college:
My transmission went out on my car.
I got fired from my job because I had to call off because I had no way to get to work since the car broke down. I had too many missed days and was on a final warning.
Found out from one of my teachers that more than likely I would have to repeat his class because there was no way I could get my grades up to pass.
