Not everyone is going to get a Rose, James, Duncan, Iverson, Ewing, Johnson, Olajuwon from the first round pick either, its luck of the draw

:yeshrug:
I get that breh, but this is a horrible ratio imo.

Id rather build my team through trades and low picks than tank

Sixers :scust:

7/18 isn't even half but you said "most"

Kenyon and Bogut turned out to be serviceable, so I wouldn't call them terrible or put them in the same category as the other guys.
Bogut is lucky he went to that GS squad tho.

If you analyze the last 20 years only Timmy and Bron delivered a title.

They werent all bad picks. Kenyon Martin was cleary the best player in that draft, but yea you look at his career production it isnt what you expect with a no. 1 pick.

oden just couldnt stay healthy. Kwame and kandi man were real busts. Then you had a few teams try to outsmart themselves with foreigners instead of getting the real thing.

Im not saying its a great ratio either, but busts are going to happen regardless of what draft pick number they are. Some drafts just have real horrible players that year too and they gotta do what they can with whats available.

Bogut led the league in blocks one year with the Bucks and made the all NBA third team while with the Bucks too. His best stats in his career are with the Bucks, he averaged a double double a few years. He just was unlucky its injuries. He hasn't been terrible tho.

Franchise changing players are rarely available in trades. When they are available they often come with baggage and it almost always requires young talent and high draft picks to obtain them.
