A big bag of Doritos and air is damn near $7
Same here,I try to catch the Sales before they end on Tues/Wed then plan out the next run,I have like 2-4 Stores lined up where I Price Match(with 3 of them where I use Digital Coupons, then there's Walmart:shaq2)and I keep it on the usual stuff I always get and just keep replenishing thatSince I'm solo, I spend in bits. $40 here, $35 there. In fact, yesterday the cashier at Pete's Produce was like "You are by yourself, huh?". I said: "You can tell my the stuff i got and the portion, right?" A quart of milk, 2-pack of paper towels, 1 lb of deli meat, etc.
Pet peeve about debit cards. It's 2025 and there are still people who act like they've never used a card before. At the checkout struggling like a rookie quarterback. You got THREE options now: Swipe, chip, and TAP. It's not that hard.![]()
I buy all my groceries on credit since I get 5.25% back at sam's club, and 3.25% cash back at every other grocery store.
that said, I budget $350 for me as a person living solo, which is adequate IMO.
Go to Samsclub, bags bigger than what they have at walmart for $5.A big bag of Doritos and air is damn near $7
