Most Overrated and Underrated anime you watch?

Simple thread. For me I'm sure it's JoJo I love it but I know a lot of people feel like it'd overrated.

Underrated I think is Kingdom. The anime is good and the manga is Godly.

JJK is the most unoriginal mainstream anime I've ever seen.

I'm one of the very few Kingdom fans (both mediums) and I can attest to it's quality and lack of recognition.

Overrated? One Piece, easily. Honestly, the fandom plays an enormous role in this, like anything that's got longevity, people automatically try to equate it to quality. It's a fallacy and no amount of pious whining and scoreboard pointing will ever change it.

As far as popular anime, I've always felt Yu Yu Hakusho is underrated.

I could never get into One Piece. shyt starts way too slow and the art is trash for alot of it. nikkas talking about wait until episode 100+ for it to get good.

Pacing literally doesn't improve the entire series until after Wano, that's after 1,000 episodes. Still, if you could just point it out and move on (like literally anything else) it wouldn't be a problem.
