I still go to them when I feel like it but it always ends up being a blur. You stand in a crowded room with music that's usually with a bunch of people you don't know and can't really talk to in any interesting way.

If it's the vibe is fun then you get to dance and shyt and maybe hook up with someone, but besides that it's really just about getting out of the house.

Most parties are the same if you go to most parties and do nothing, breh.

I've been to my fair share and most all of them that were interesting enough I remember from different encounters I had through interacting with who's there.

Doesn't make sense to go to a party, chill and mean mug and then go home feeling like you wasted your time, cause it will happen again at the next one if that's you continue to be passive. You ain't got to be dancing and shyt, but get off your shoulders and have conversations if you're capable of starting any.

The majority of the people you meet networking while partying are people you basically never talk to again. You can have a fun conversation in the moment, and the next day everyone forgets all about it cause you go back to real life.

I don't hate partying or whatever, I just think that a lot of people seem to feel like life revolves around them and people don't want to say otherwise cause they'll be seen as anti-social. Some parties are legitimately interesting, other times I feel like other people have the same thoughts when they're at parties, like, "this is really just an excuse to drink and hook up for the x time" and people think it's boring but nobody wants to go against the established social code.

i mean that's basically what it is... people ain't getting up at 7pm, shower, shave, shyt, put on good clothes, smell goods, fresh sneakers... to go out and NOT try and bag something... or at least get drunk and unwind.. or have a good time.

nobody is trying to meet lifelong friends... just laugh and joke and maybe get some ass before you gotta go back to your mundane life of work, eat, sleep for the next 5 days


if that's not your scene, bounce. not even on no disrespectful shyt towards you... literally show up... ehhhhhh this ain't my type of party, and go the hell home... save yourself the grief

you're basically at the point where, unless it's some bomb shyt, you'd rather be somewhere else... i think i'm on that level now.. mostly from partying overseas... i've been at some epic events and had a blast so many times, that going to the local bar/club/party doesn't even excite me anymore..

i walk out on them shyts if i'm not having fun within the first 30 mins
