The streaming era is weird... I feel like most of these albums "sales" are driven by one or two songs on the albums getting streamed like crazy.
This definitely isn't a reflection of the quality of music because most of these albums aren't even really good outside of Astroworld and Damn
And we know Drake is Drake, but quality wise Scorpion and Views are probably towards the bottom of his catalog

I never got the hype for XXTencion and Juice World dudes but I guess the youngins love them for some reason. My younger cousin told me kids see XXTencion as their generation’s Tupac

I honestly think if XXX was still alive he'd be the hottest rapper in the game right now. The way kids fukk with him....I don't understand it since I'm older. I will say I think he was a good writer, and it's hard to get kids to appreciate lyrics or emotion in music beyond the typical motivation/grind/relationship IG caption lyrics these new rappers are on.

The thing about Scorpion, they damn near forced that on Spotify users. You opened the app there was a full screen pic of Drake's face. You could barely click on anything without it going to his album, shyt was like that for a week+.
