:mjlol: When tracks are being made like this, you know that trap music is oversaturated.

still, everyday i'm surprised at how the influence of trap has seeped into other genres. from bubblegum pop like katy perrys 'dark horse', to r&b, to EDM and being a major influence in the creation of new subgenres like witch house. that trap sound is everywhere  its funny to me considering trap musics grimey ass origins

Nah, if white people use these 808s and snares long enough, it might encourage nikkas to go on to something else. Just like Boom bap was in Hip Hop 12 years ago, right before it fell off. The trap sound is tiring to many people's ears and if you think that people are going to listen to the same shyt 10 years from now, you only kidding yourself.

trap's gonna be around whether its mainstream or not. it took YEARS for that sound go above ground. sure it'll get played out by the EDM scene but then it'll just go underground again and get back to its roots. I still listen to old triple six mafia from '94 and it still sounds SO FRESH

loud bass and hard bars will never go out of style
