I occasionally hangout with alot of Emirati and Saudi Univeristy exchange students in my spare time (most Emiratis go to Europe and Australia for Education) and these guys are dope as fuc. They go clubbing, smoke weed, drink, party hard; they act like the typical Western adult. Alot of the Emiraits and saudis I met told me they disagreed with wahabism and despise their governments who keep bending over to old conservative muftis. Thats why alot of them go overseas to experience the freedoms we take for granted here. And most of them hate how their women are treated. Because they were literally raised by foreigners and all had western teachers throughout their formative years, they pretty much picked up alot of western values. But most feel like they cant express what they feel in their own country. Theres a gulf between the older gen and the younger gen. The government is getting worried aswell.
