But I hope u understand the reasons these dangerous items are publicly available is only because very powerful (and wealthy) people lobbied for it. Do you know what lobbying means? In its most simplistic form, lobbying is when you convince law makers to enact rules that benefit you (or your business).

So this argument of “you shoulda been more careful” is not only reckless but also a very shortsighted take on matters that can have severe repercussions.

I admit i was surprised you can actually die from thc. though they did say his death was preventable had he gotten medical attention more promptly, i wonder if it was some underlying complications that were exasterbated by it, but then again. who knows with edibles them things strong as fukk. nothing like a 1990s era joint of some reggie

THC can and will be toxic if u take too much of it at once. Folks always go on about how weed shouldnt be classified a drug, and maybe it shouldnt be in the same category with crack and heroin. But it is still a substance, and even water will kill u if u drink more than ur body can handle. Just cause its not as addictive or dangerous as hard shyt doesnt mean its candy....even if it is made into...well, candy.

Pretty sure that kid didn't die from a THC overdose since the amount required to do so would be more than the parent could even reasonably acquire

This looks like the case of a white trash parent engaging in child negligence and trying to claim it was the edibles in order for the courts to take sympathy

But TLR is chock full of nikkas who don't know shyt about weed or THC so I expect the thread to go out for a few more pages, thus helping to perpetuate the reefer madness that is bubbling up again since it looks like the country is getting close to legalizing it.

We'll find out more about this in a few weeks, the people in this thread pearl clutching will probably not comment on it, and life will go on
