We will globally have to start rethinking waterfront properties in the next few decades... :francis:

In fact many of our population predictions will be wrong. Think of all the projections citing growth in places like Houston or phili or la. Might see more growth in Dallas , sanbernadino , and Pittsburgh instead, especially as home /bussiness insurers pull out of the flood insurance game like we have seen in miami

Has it been unseasonably warm (or some other type of shift) where you live?

All the stuff they’ve been saying about climate is coming true.

Super strong storms, very hot weather, I’m wondering what the winter has in store for us, bc it’s been unseasonably warm these last couple winters on the east coast

Seriously the past two years it hasn’t even snowed. I always made sure I had a all wheel drive car to drive in the snow but my new car I said fukk awd I don’t even need it anymore

To me it feels like the seasons have "slipped".

Not just in terms of turning up a bit later but also on the diagonal axis in terms of hot and cold as well. No scientific data collection or anything, just simple observation as its obvious something has shifted.

Yeah I thought I wanted a house near the water but I don’t know now. It makes me think about The Outer Banks in North Carolina. Them people literally got houses on the beach.. their yard is beach sand. I thought that was so cool until people started losing their homes during storms. Like the ocean came in and took their shyt :picard: I’m super good on that shyt now lol.

I'm waiting to see if we get hit with another blizzard warning out in LA.

Folks really underestimate how small the strip of atmosphere we're living on is and trivial we are in the grand scheme of things.

It would not be difficult for the Earth to wipe us up at any time.
