Well, the next question is what style motorcycle do you want? Do you want a sportbike, cruiser, dual sport, touring, chopper. There are different styles so what style do you want?
Is this your first bike? I wouldnt recommend anything bigger than a 250-500
Also budget a good $500 for gear (helmet, gloves, armored jacket, boots) and another couple hundred for training/licensing. Dont buy a bike till you have the safety gear + training.

If you don't mind me asking is insurance High?
My insurance is only like 600 a year but I had an accident so its def gonna go up when I renew. I hear its more in Canada. Call up insurance + ask them for a quote on something like a Kawasaki Ninja 250
Training here is only like 2-3 days but its good if youve never ridden a bike before.

Wintertime I put it in storage. $100/mo.... not much more than insurance
It was like $3000. 2006 with 250 miles. Bikes are pretty cheap, esp in the winter. Trying to get out of NYC though so I can ride all year. Prob gonna get a 1000cc V twin when I leave.
Def gotta start small though. shyt is no joke. I was lucky in both of my crashes.

Its worth it man. Building confidence, never being stuck in traffic, getting an open stretch and cracking it open like
, the sounds.... I will say this though.... you def have to be mature with them... if I had got mine like 3-4 years ago, I would prob be dead.

Wait till after summer and save some $. nikkas raise prices in summer. I'm in Cali and I seen so many overpriced bikes lately.
