Lately, I've been on my sixties shyt, I even made a post about Sam Cooke recently
Did Sam Cooke have the most perfect voice ever?
I just watched a documentary on Motown Records recently, and man, they used to come out with some memorable, easy to recite, genius hooks.
It was simple, yet impactful.
These hooks seem so simple on the surface, but they're kind of genius on how universal, and easy to recite, and how memorable they are.
"Stop, in the name of love, Before you break my heart"
"its the same, old song, but with a different meaning since you've been gone"
"wait mister Postman, is there a letter in your bag for me?"
"what becomes of the broken hearted"
"ABC, its easy as 1,2,3"
