Plenty can be done with Edge Of Tomorrow's concept...that's one you could come at from all kinds of angles. A prequel starring the chick or the aftermath of these two showing the army the alien's ability (or attempt to weaponize it) or just a whole new character's experience with the same scenario.

Zombieland, still one of my favorite takes on the zombie apocalypse trope.
Scott Pilgrim vs the World; seems like the closed it fine but any excuse to go back into this world is welcome. Just have Ramona kidnapped or break them up or whatever...it's a video game style world, the options are endless for how they could spark it and up the ante.
The last Predator film was solid and set some good stuff up for a sequel. Forgot about Cloverfield.
