Movies that are better than the book.

It's rare for me to come across a movie that is better than the book. One of my favourite books 'Memoirs of a Geisha' is a prime example, the book is exponentially better.

What is a movie you saw this is better than the book?

For me, it's Forrest Gump. I loved the movie so much that I read the book and it was TERRIBLE. Just pages and pages of nonsense, absolutely nothing like the Forrest in the movie.

But no new concepts are in the stuff they read.

It's reduced to " Nah nikka, that's not what happens in the book, the hobbits walked for 200 more miles in the Game of Thrones book than the TV show, it's not accurate"

Ive put at least 40 books down throughout this year so far... Tons of people atill read books.

Tons of people over seas down give a fukk about tv or movies and simply read books...
