Apocalypse Now Directors cut was something I made kids watch, when I came in as guest professor lol in cinematography class, lol. The original cut was good but the directors cut is like an ODB album gotta watch multiple times to see the angles.

Yea Kingdom of Heaven might be the GOAT directors cut. I actually feel bad for Orlando Bloom, his career may have went in a different direction had the movie been released as intended. And for a movie about the Crusades it was actually pretty objective, history, acting and violence in a beautiful tapestry.
I literally just rewatched Kingdom of Heaven last night because it was on cinemax. came on at 1am, I stayed up til 3+ watching it even tho i had to work in the morning lol. God damn the cinematography is fukking gorgeous in that movie. I have it on blu-ray, I'm going to watch the directors cut again tonight, I hadn't seen it in a while.
