Yeah but that's a problem with society's attitudes towards sexual assault, they're pretty terrible when it comes to women being raped and they're also terrible when it comes to men being raped. Like all the stuff about not being believed or taken seriously and being discouraged to come forward affect women who are assaulted too but men are seen as special cases for a variety of reasons, every single one of them stemming from fukked up attitudes towards assault.
