Give the kid some time. Jason Kidd used to be horrible from the field too. At least he knew to avoid taking any shots outside of 10 feet hist first couple of years which made his FG% not look as bad

Im not even sure who he is. If im not mistaken he's that PG the nuggets drafted 2 years ago, right? Either way young players sometimes struggle early :yeshrug:

I don't know why this thread was made when D'Angelo "superstar" Russell is shooting 39% from the field. Not exactly the poster boy for efficiency either. Not to mention more experienced players have worse FG%s than Mudiay this season too:

Devin Harris
Al-Farouq Aminu
Meyers Leonard
Randy Foye
Paul Pierce
Marcus Smart
Alan Anderson
Anderson Varejao
Justice Winslow
Chandler Parsons
Brandon Rush

Kidd has a career 40% shooter & only hit 44% once:gucci:

Also he was an excellent floor general something Mudiay isn't. Hell even in an era where he doesn't need to be a floor general just a good shooter he garbage

Chandler Parsons

There should be a weekly "lets laugh at memphis" for his contract.

It's not hindsight, everyone knew he was trash prior to the contract and he still got paid. It's like the Noah contract where you're just baffled that NBA GMs somehow don't realize the obvious about certain players that everyone knows are washed.

With all due respect breh you shouldn't just lump this guy into the group with other "young players" if you haven't really seen him play like that.

This dude is bad. Like really bad. If you go to any corner of the Internet where they talk Nuggets bball you'll see fans clamoring for him to be traded. It ain't by accident either

At least Jason kidd was an elite level facilitator and could provide value in that regard. Mudiay cant do that. He is just a big hunk of coal that Denver hopes turns into a diamond before they pull their hair out

It's crazy that dudes on here thought the Lakers should've passed up on Russell for him
