I. I NEVER said he was going to change the game.
II. This started because I said he had a higher ceiling than D'Angelo - y'all Lakers fans turned into it some bullshyt that y'all wouldn't do otherwise if D'Angelo wasn't in LA - this is why I can't take y'all seriously.
III. While granted he isn't where I thought he'd be at this stage, he's still only 20. And he STILL has a higher ceiling than D'Angelo.
IV. I was willing to let that Bazemore > Barnes shyt slide - don't let me do it to you dunny 'cause I overdo it.
:whoa: I already said I was wrong. No questions asked & Kent a co0n:scust:

But atleast I can admit when wrong:mjgrin:you still running with that Mudiay >DRuss garbage when every metric you usually use says otherwise:gucci:

I think Mudiay has a higher ceiling than Russell, but Russell himself has a higher ceiling at the 2 than he does PG.

what are you basing this off? nothing Mudiay was successful at coming into the league has translated. People always pointed to Mudiay's athleticism as a PRO over Russell, but even that hasnt translated. despite being more athletic than russell he is a worse finisher. his playmaking ability hasnt translated, especially considering teams no he is an offensive liability. His IQ is nowhere near Russell's. He doesnt rebound as well as Russell. These things probably wont change. He will NEVER be a better scorer let alone shooter than Russell either.

hmm lets see

Mudiay : 11.8 PTS/ 4.2 AST/ 3.5 REB off 36/30/77 shooting in 28mg/10.3 PER (prime smush parker status, sike..not even)
Russell: 14.2 PTS/ 4.8 AST/ 3.8 REB off 39/34/76 shooting in 26mpg/15.6 PER

Russell trumps Mudiay in pretty much every stat available despite playing less minute. Also Mudiay shoots below 33% everywhere on the court outside of the paint. Russell is a better shooter and finisher anywhere on the court. Also, Mudiay has negative win shares
mudiay takes a gang of shots in 28mns too :deadmanny:

For me I think it has to do with basketball IQ, once Mudiay really starts to figure it out, things will begin moving in the right direction.

Just because I think he has the higher ceiling doesn't mean I think he's better than Russell. Like you said he will never be a better scorer, but in time I think he can surpass Russell in most other areas.

They Nuggets wouldn't be willing to be so patient with him if they didn't see this potential in him, they're both only 20 years old.

I don't think I see either one really being a star in the league, but every player doesn't have to be a star either, there is nothing wrong with that.

Let's be reality, Mudiay is 20 years old and is still picking up the finer points of basketball, the Nuggets have nothing to lose in letting him develop and get experience.
