Herman needs to win this game because he could conceivably lose 5 or 6 games this year.
Right now I don't really see much of an improvement, if any, over Charlie Strong.

Yes it's still early. But this team has been "meh" for the first 6 weeks.

Texas is blown out by USC and OU if Strong is still here and they lose to Iowa State as well.

What makes you think it's bullshyt when Strong did not show the ability to manage games, get his teams ready to play, and stop anybody out there on the field. I am not listening to anyone. I'm going off my own observations. Strong was not good here and would not have been good this year. Strong failed at Texas. And guarantees. Texas scored 41 on Maryland. That game was on the defense as much as it was on Beck. That game is showing to be an aberration anyway because if Texas plays Maryland again today, Texas handles them with ease. I have no faith in a Strong led defense at Texas holding USC got 17 points in regulation. I have no faith in a Strong led defense holding OSU to 10 points in regulation today. I have no faith in a Strong led defense going into Ames and winning there as well. A strong led coaching staff had Malik never do any sort of squats. This defense this season has played far better than any year that Strong was here. Perhaps if Herman kept Gilbert, this team is right now at least 5-2 or 6-1. But this team is better under Herman than it is under Strong IMO.

That's why watching the game is better than going off box scores. That 3 to KSU is deceptive. KSU had that game over 10 and gave up an end of game cosmetic touchdown to make the game look closer than it was. You don't lose to three by KU. You should not be losing at all.
