Only version I've heard is the retail...never heard the bootleg or any other version.
Bro, download Soulseek and look for some of the bootleg copies. There were a couple different ones. There was a bootleg one that got sold in NYC on the streets, and there was a copy sent out early to magazines and reviewers. Both are different than the retail. Some of the songs ended up on other projects.

Look for some of these song titles: Nobody Likes Me, Pile Raps, Feel My Gat Plow, Thrill Me, 3 The Hard Way, Pyramid Points, Perfect Plot, You fukkin' With, Never Goin Back. All from those sessions and most on various versions of the album. Look up an extended version of Murda Muzik as well with an extra prodigy verse and a version os USA with an extra Nas verse. There's also another version of Quiet Storm without Hav's hook.

P was such an interesting rapper man. The way he put his thoughts together was a style of his own.
Nooo doubt. Also, one of the few rappers whose music ages better every year. I feel like he was more and more ahead of his time with every passing year.

I know it's a common narrative that he declined/fell off, but I love his later music so much. It was different...it felt like he slowed down and was just having a conversation with you, and I thought it was dope that he didn't even care about rhyming all the time. It was almost like some thug spoken word shyt mixed with street wisdom, philosophy, spirituality, but still general fukkery, entertainment, and humor.

P's in my top 5 all time.

Einstein, Mac, and HNIC are classics, and HNIC 2, Hegelian Dialectic 1, and Product of the 80's are all great, and personal classics to me.
