people brought albums in '99 and artists were easily selling platinum plus albums. if anything, the execs are now trimming down on deals and royalties to artists and profiting from tour revenue to make up the loss sale revenue.

Who cares though, the artist are still caking and even making more from shows than they ever did.

The movie industry had 10 billion in revenue in the states, or at least 10 billion in box-office and another 20 in others.
I think it was closer to 80-90 billion ww.. And that's not accounting Bollywood etc. So obviously it's completely different worlds.

But it's still interesting that Apple makes more than the whole movie industry :whew:
