Sirius XM have this old school soul station that was named "Soul" something, maybe "Soul Town". About a year and a half ago, Smokey bought the station, and now it's called, "Smokey's Soul Town". Now you know why they're coming after him. That should tell you everything. Remember what they did to Bill Cosby for trying to by CBS. No disrespect to the blind, but a blind person can see that.
Not too long after he bought the station, he announced he was about to release his new album, "Gasms". I was saying to myself "Why, Smokey?"

. I was thinking about the fans that respected him all these year. I was like, "You've come too far to end it now". Actually the song was, "We've come too far to end it now". I'm glad I was just a child when that song was released. Like how could a couple hear that song, and still break up. I just know it was a big change from that style, to "Gasm"...smh...not to mention he was about 83 when he released the new album. He said he was trying to reach the modern generation, but I don't think it was worth it. The title of that album, and him buying Soul Town, was probably all it took for them White folks to get a couple of desperate women to sue him for sexual assault.
But the good news is, Smokey is now fighting back, and he's suing his rape accusers for 500 million dollars for defamation, and elder abuse. Should have left the old man alone. And what bothers me the most is alot of our sisters, and I mean our older sisters, who were almost ready to throw him under the bus with Bill, basically because he committed adultery. We've go to stop the foolishness. I just hope more Black people support Smokey, than they did Bill...and they probably will.
