My itunes library is a mess...i never properly tagged anything :sadperk:

ive been trying to use mediamonkey to tag everything, but the tag from web tool is a pain in the ass, it never seems to find the right shyt and i gotta type shyt in manually :scusthov:

is there a reliable automated way to do this? or a better program?

Download mp3tag. Places these files http://shawnoster.blog.s3.amazonaws.com/downloads/ZuneMarketplace.zip
in your C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mp3tag\data\sources folder, drag the album into the program, 2 clicks, sortsout the title names, year, genre, artist, publisher, 800x800 album art etc just like that. Also works with amazon.com album sources. Will work with any major release.

When i click on tag sources -zune its asking me to search for a album...is that what its supposed to do?

i got a ton of individual songs that need tagging, not so many straight up albums. this will take me weeks if im going to have to type everything out

Yea that would take a while. Doubts theres anythiing out there efficient enough to get that done. Part of the reason i started strictly downloading full albums even if i ever only listen to a few songs.

This guy liberated you fakkits and he can't get no help? :beli:

For what he is trying to do its hard to give him a viable option. Best thing to do is tag songs as you add them to your library if they aren't tagged correctly because if not then you are left with a giant mess.

At this point I would suggest tagging them as you listen to them.

Real spit, take the fifteen seconds when you first deposit the new shyt in your library to tag it up. A messy iTunes is not the lick.

I wouldn't trust any automated program

in the future, make sure everything's tagged up when you add it

Tag & Rename is my go to application of choice, but its power is found in mass renaming (i.e. whole cds). You're not going to find much for individual file renaming.

This. I just tag a chunk of songs every so often I can't just do it in one sitting. The bright side to me atleast tagging this way also helped me remove duplicate songs that somehow were added to the library.
