They see me trolling, they hating.....
For the sake of discussion lets say hypothetically you've stumbled upon some information that convinced you that your entire faith was straight :duck:

How would this affect your daily choices/routines, interactions and overall perspective on life?

Would it bother you emotionally? How would u deal with it?

Just curious.

:ohhh:

This actually happened to me. I was serious in the church for years and the more I learned the more it didn't really make sense. I had a lot of ethical and logical questions that nobody seemed to be able to answer.

to make a long story short emotionally it hurt because you feel like you were sold a lie and ones faith and ones emotions are typically interwined with each other.

I dealt with it by just learning all that I could about all religions and deciding for myself that is "truth" and not just following and believing what I have been told.

It didn't effect my daily life at all. I didn't turn into a heathen just because I walked away from church. I stayed the same, if anything I started to accept myself and my faults more. I got peace that I never had since I stayed trying to be "perfect" like christ. I became more understanding and compassionate of others and actually have a kinder heart than I did prior.

The same thing that drew me to religion is the same thing that pushed me away- the search for truth.
