Must be REALLY frustrating to play one on one to a EX NBA player that can’t even get a bench spot on a team 💀☠️🪦

I saw Jalen Rose Jimmy King Mo Taylor Robert Tractor Taylor and Voshon Leonard hooping back in the day when I was a kid at St. Cecilia.

If you a hooper on Detroit you gotta show up at St and do yo thing to get certified.

Kid you not. This nikka Voshon Leonard couldn't miss. All the shyt steph curry does now Voshon was doing.

Behind the back step back 3. Wet. All net not touching the rim. In between leg dribble side step 3. Wet. Nothing but net.

Pulling up at half court. Wet nothing but 3. He was playing back in shape too cuz he had tore his achilles.

That's when I knew nba players were different cuz he did none of that in the league

We had one of our HS players go straight to the NBA and another start at a D1 school. They would randomly pop into our team sports classes, PE classes, and even at the indoor/outdoor courts just to destroy us for nothing lol. I had to guard the future NBA player for some possessions, and you never get used to that shyt.

Their feel for the game, decision making, accuracy, and athleticism is so many levels above ours that it feels like you’re trying to run in a dream lol. You know exactly what they gon do, but you’re powerless to stop it lol.

My sister went to high school with Rashard Lewis, he was unreal to watch too.

We used to randomly have D2 and D3 players show up at the outdoor courts sometimes and kill everybody too smh.

Only if your ego isn't properly in alignment. You're not supposed to think you can beat a former NBA player :pachaha:
And it not like Ty Lawson was a scrub. Brian Scalabrine was a career 15th man, and averaged single digits for his career.

Ty started a good portion of his career and scored 17ppg at one point. He not in the league anymore only because he 5'11" and players that height aren't going to be able to defend at 37 years old.

Now one on one is a different sport but one sided highlights are pointless. Do we know if that other cat was doing exactly the same thing? I mean dude averaged 8 points, ie less in the nba than in the euroleague during the lockout

I played varsity bball with a dude who was a high school all american and went to Michigan State.

I got him once in scrimmage. He tried to block my shot and I did a reverse layup with English off the glass. nikkas was like :whew:. So I'm talking a lil shyt.

Next play we're on defense in 2-3 zone. I got back screened. I knew the lob was coming. Couldn't do shyt about it. His nuts all in my face and he dunked that bytch hard as hell and just stared at me
