It’s been nearly a week since the incident took place, and yet still everyone is talking about what took place in the Bay Area on Sunday night (June 8).
Of course, by now you’ve heard and watched the brawl that ensued between Mistah F.A.B. and members of DJ Mustard and YG’s entourage after the former approached Mustard during a show in the Bay. While initial rumors purported that both Mustard and YG’s chains were snatched during the altercation, that following day (June 9) the L.A. natives quickly took to
Instagram to kill that noise. Then the
extended version of the fight hit the net, and needless to say, it became pretty clear who
actuallycaught the fade.
On Wednesday, F.A.B. eventually spoke on the incident via a statement to Miss Info, summing it all up in just a few words: “TAKE A SIMPLE FADE and move on!!! Laugh & live.” Speaking exclusively to REVOLT, Mustard shared the same notion. “It’s nothing. What happens is what happens,” said the Roc Nation producer.
He also made it clear that he has no issues with the Bay, despite rumbling talks about an L.A. and Bay Area rivalry. “It could never be the Bay [versus] L.A.,” he confirms. “And I rock with IamSu and HBK [Gang]. I would hope there is no [tensions between] the Bay and L.A.”
