about 4 days... in 6 days i made this beat once i was able to find the sound i was looking for.

I wanted to slam it against the wall the first few days :damn:

u can see a few of my complaints in the maschine thread..

but once i was able to get the swing/groove down and get a good sample (w/minimal drums) i was good.

Nice, How long did it take you to learn it and how different is it from the MPC?

im not gonna lie the Mpc swing/groove and timing is far superior out the box..

but Maschine can get wit it, with just the right settings..

i set my audio card to 64 for latency, then in maschine i set the kicks to 1/16th triplets, the key is the grid on the software allows u to nudge ur kicks over to make sure they're on time.... then i throw a small swing on the whole project..

my old mpc beats seemed limited because of the lack of Ram my Mpc had, but with maschine :gladbron: im flipping 5-7 samples of the same song in one track with no problem... searching and loading samples is a breeze on maschine
and then the export process  :smugdraper: is made perfectly for any daw.... providing easy access to run plug ins/mastering...

no more playing out whole songs during a track out like on the mpc:why:

im 50/50 with time spent on the hardware/software... i like to do my edits and loading on the screen then bang the pads for the percussion.

You aint kidding. I think i'm good now. I wanted to learn how to do everything from the controller without looking at the monitor. shyt was a headache at first now it's all good.

Biggest thing is Maschine nor the MPC REN doesn't do multi timbral vst. I was stuck for 2 days trying to map Kontakt 5.
