played about 5 hours of fallout 4 and I find myself :russell: a lot. I honestly have zero desire to go back to it. big purchasing mistake there (should've got rainbow six instead)

bought lightning retuns on steam. played for literally 30 minutes and was so bored my eyes were literally watering :russell: uninstalled.

looking back, its a wonder I beat the witcher 3 at all, but for the most part it was a snorefest and I was :russell: through that game as well

fukk breh, I just don't have the patience for these long-ass epic-ass single player games anymore... :flabbynsick:

I thought I was the only one. I remember playing the shyt out of most my games back on the 360 but now I can barely even bother picking up any new game I purchased after a while. Normally I come home from work and just watch netflix. Don't even bother playing. Am I getting too old or :flabbynsick:?

I'll be pushing 26 next months. Cougars probably won't even want to fukk with me:sadcam:

Those are the only games I can stay engaged with these days. Tried a couple of the smaller indie titles lately and after the first play session I never turn them on again.

Games like fallout and Witcher have me thinking about them when I'm not playing, can't wait to jump back in.

:sadcam: I'm literally on thecoli, listening to a podcast, browsing my computer, watching a video (it has no dialogue, though) and I'm want to play my PS3. Help me.

of course because all the blockbuster devs are cutting the wrong corners

looped up quest structures
using time and distance as mechanics (that shyt is meant to be a money grab mechanism for mmo's)
watered down basic AI...detect and attack aggro aggro aggro
too few systems that dont interact with each other or affect the game world...ie detachable minigames
bare bones embedded narratives posing as emergent narratives
weak presentation

DA:I, FO4, Witcher 3, and probably a dozen less popular...guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty

of the shyt i played...the order 1886 caught a lot of flack for what it wasnt, but at least it knew what it was and gave a kick ass presentation.
thats more than a lot of these hype boxes can say at the moment

im enjoying mgs V and gta V right now, both are complete packages so far. just waiting to have my mind blown by UC4 later this year.
