My biggest gripe about plus size modeling and full figured fashion week.

I'm not plus size but I like watching fashion shows including plus size fashion shows. I was watching shows from the full figure fashion week.




And I must say.. These shows and designers don't give a fukk about actual fashion. Many of the stuff looks dated. Also the clothes are ill fitted on the models. It's more so about showcasing their bodies than it is about the fashion or clothes. It's very self serving. One thing about high fashion modeling is its always mainly been about the clothing and art. Models kinda come second.

If I was a big girl I would be upset because the quality and creativity is missing. Just because girls are big doesn't mean they cant be stylish. It makes me want to be fashion designer just to design for big girls.

These shows seem more about the models being seen and selling sexy than about fashion.

Good. You on the something. They make them look stupid and brush it off cuz their plus models.

They don't decide to work with the figure of the model, they try to attempt to work around it.

I know, they don't care and they just like to walk the runway to look important. They don't care about actually providing stylish and fitted clothing for big girls.

Chunky heels and wedges look better on girls with thick legs.

Fashion is all about the silhouette.

Also, patent leather on fupas is a no-no.

There should be room to breath in your clothing. Everything shouldn't be super tight.

Look even skinny models their clothing is never too tight.

Lots of people call themselves "fashion designers" but have no fashion sense at all.

It's lots of beautiful women with lots of fashion sense... Look at Gabbi fresh. She is always beautifully dressed in clothes that are appropriate for being plus size.
