1. these things get way too much undeserved attention... i.e. people retweeting/reposting racist stuff
2. people actually go out looking for things that they consider wrong... I even looked for Romney supporters freaking out on Twitter after the election so I'm guessing some of you did too
3. people get riled up by other people freaking out over racist comments
