I have all the systems and a very nice gaming PC. I use my X1 a ton, but not for games (except exclusives). If you're into media, the X1S is the ultimate media box. I watch TV on it, it plays 4K Blu-rays, has HDR, plays all types of files (including MKV, which is a must nowadays if you download shows and movies). If you're not into media, then I say pass. I love my X1S, but just not for games. Some of the exclusives are nice (FH3, GOW, Halo), but other than that, the PS4 has the better mult-plats. I game mostly on my PC (which normally has the best multi-plats), but if you're a console gamer only, the PS4 is the way to go. It has a much better community, you can get the Pro and play games in Faux 4K with HDR, etc.

And as a dude who's been Xbox live for 8 or so years, the amount of people you'll "meet" has dropped off DRASTICALLY compared to how it used to be back in the day of the 360 when it seems like every homophobe, racist, homework/dish night dodging kid had a mic and could converse/trash talk. Hardly anybody talking to the point where you'll "Meet" anyone like I did most half my XBL friendslist and I've been knee deep in Battlefield 1 and before that the last two COD's before this one with a mic and hardly anyone had one or used it.

Plus if I'm not mistaken the Ps4 has some very nice exclusives on the horizon. Hell, isn't there a game called Horizon coming out too? Don't switch if you got doubts/niggles, breh. Unless you can afford to live with your purchase and not looking for immediate gratification/useage of your system (Not saying you won't get it like I and others who do will but...) or can sell it off quickly and recoup A minimum of 90 percent of what you spent....don't.

I use it for games cause I don't do PC or have a PS4 but the fact that I can watch TV through it is huge to me. The snap feature is a fukking life changer. Playing my games whole keeping an eye on whatever game is going on at the same time and yes MKV support is great. Not a huge fan of the controls on playing media but I bought the media controller off ebay so hopefully that controls better

You're a moron. Xbox is a fine system. If all your friends have an Xbox then DEFINITELY get one as you'll more than likely be playing games online with ya friends, not random internet nerds.

hell nah, I wouldn't double up on ANY system nowadays simply because both require Live/PSN to be worth a damn.

not only that but these systems are designed to be platforms... Especially so with XB1. I'm not trying to build a library for both systems unless you have money to burn, or a PC and want play anywhere.
